TidyMom's Garlic Chicken Puffs

Wow, today has been a busy cooking day! I have literally been in and out of the kitchen for about four or five hours now (including dinner time to eat and stuff, but still!). Don't think I'm complaining, though (well, maybe about the cleaning and doing dishes four times haha). Above are the garlic chicken puffs I made for an afternoon snack for the kids and the oldest (14) helped out a bit (he has expressed interest in what I'm doing, so I offer to let him help when I think of it).

They were very good! I thought they may be a bit heavy, but not at all. At least to me, and they're very simple to make. The thing is I've some egg roll wraps in the freezer for quite a while and finally decided to start finding ways to use them. I found some that included chicken, but I didn't have the ingredients on hand. Then I found this at TidyMom.net. Her recipe called for more than what I had and I figured that much might go to waste, so I trimmed it down a bit...

1 Can of crescent rolls
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
2 ounces of cream cheese (actually used a little less)
About a cup of shredded, cooked chicken breast (Had lots of chicken I was prepping for dinner anyways, so we stuffed a lot in there)

For the crescent rolls, unroll and cut along the perforated lines (I used a pizza cutter). Then cut once more to make two triangles out of each triangle you have.

Place a smear of cream cheese and add some chicken. Fold the sides over the top and place on aluminum foil lined baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake for about 12 minutes at 375.
